After a year of consolidation and stabilisation, the Distribution division is now poised for significant growth and a new brand identity will underpin and add momentum to this planned expansion. Improving availability at STL Distribution

In recent weeks we have been working hard on improving our stock availability. As part of this work, our main focus has been on the more popular selling titles – we call them category 1 & 2 (core stock and bestsellers) – which make up a significant proportion of the lines our customers require. Our goal is to fulfil over 90% of lines ordered from these categories and, with this in mind, we have seen a marked improvement in our availability and achieved that goal last week.



As you will be aware, it is a continual process to ensure we have the right titles in stock at the right time; we recognise that this is by no means perfect. Our core stock and bestsellers may be different to yours and there will be areas where we still have gaps. So please don’t hesitate to make us aware of where we need to strengthen our stock range by speaking with our Customer Services team or your Area Sales Manager; they will gladly receive your feedback and pass on to the supply chain team, who will bring stock in as appropriate.

99 years tomorrow since the Titanic sank

The Titanic struck the iceberg at 23.40 on the night of the 14th April, 1912, sinking the following morning.
