We are pleased to report that the implementation of Informix has gone very smoothly and orders are being entered and processed as usual. As you might expect with a project of this size, there have been some minor issues to resolve, which are in the process of being addressed. The majority of these relate to internal functions which will not affect you, but please be aware of the following which relates to backorders.
Promotional Discounts on Backorders
During the course of our backorder migration process, there were a small number of scenarios where we could not completely automate every aspect. This has affected a number of promotional discounts and in these circumstances your normal trade discount will have defaulted.
We are currently working through these backorders manually to update them to the correct promotional discount. However, if you come across any incorrect discounts on your invoices please contact Customer Services on 0845 705 6568 (calls charged at local rate) who will be happy to arrange a credit.
