2011 is a milestone year for the Bible!

The 400th Anniversary of the King James Version in May

It is the year of BibleFresh – an initiative to take a fresh look at the Bible and live it out.

The launch of the ‘new’ NIV is imminent and this summer the full translation of The Message celebrates its 10th birthday.

We had a fantastic response to last week's email asking you to vote on your favourite carrier bag design and we're pleased to announce the winner, with 46% of the vote, is option 3.

Fraudulent orders

It has been brought to our attention that a number of retailers have had requests for 20 copies of Franklin Bookman to be delivered to London. There is a strong possibility these orders may be fraudulent and we advise that you do not proceed with any similar order unless you have cleared funds from the caller.

STL Distribution - company announcement

Following the departure of Steve Apted (Supply Chain Director), John Ritchie Ltd is pleased to announce the following supply chain responsibilities. These are effective immediately.

John O’Nions who was recently appointed to the role of Business Development and Strategy Director for the Ritchie Group will focus on establishing, strengthening and deepening relationships with our supply chain partners. John is well known in the trade and has a wealth of experience in both the Christian and General Market sectors, ideally equipping him for this role. His experience and knowledge will be of significant benefit in ensuring that the distribution division of John Ritchie Ltd (soon to be re-branded Trust Media Distribution) is well placed to take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves.

Paul Davies, Finance Director will assume responsibility for procurement budgets and stock management functions. Paul’s primary focus will be on ensuring high rates of stock availability and fill rate on key titles.

Commenting on the changes, John Ritchie Group CEO Ken Munro said “I am convinced that this restructure will deliver excellent outcomes in the two key elements of supply chain: relationships with our partners and efficient internal procedures. John and Paul bring considerable strength to these two areas and therefore we should see tangible benefits internally and more importantly for our suppliers and customers".
